Batman Inks - Finch by LahmiaRaven Batman Inks - Finch by LahmiaRaven
So here it is, the awaited Batman piece! I've been working on this piece pretty slowly the past few weeks as I didn't wanna mess it up. Going over David's lines is a first for me, and seeing as he's one of the best artists of all time, it's hard to try and keep it looking good without messing it up.

I will say that I am really pleased with how this one turned out. It's my first proper Batman inks and I hope I did okay!

I have recently been finding myself wanting to expand my inks over other things with other artists, so I'm now not so much focused on women (though, that'll never stop!) but I now find myself wanting to ink over Batman, Superman etc. More to come soon :)

question: is none of your inked work your own? oh, the inking is great, but do you do any lineart originally? just curious...and if not, that's cool, just curious

Not bad but one thing I'd suggest which is sometimes a problem for me too is too not put too many little "scratchy" lines in there just for the sake of putting them in there. And perhaps there should be more of that sort of crosshatching on the brick chimney than there is on the figure. What I mean to say is, the bricks look kind of smooth compared to the figure. Hope some of that made sense ^^;.

Thank you! :) LOL I like men too! I'm expanding my inking to men and monsters as well as women now. I'm moving house in a few weeks so I won't be inking anything until after we've moved and settled in, but I got a few pieces to work on :)
